Cantorial Concert 2022

You are cordially invited to enjoy an afternoon of beautiful and inspiring music from across the Jewish world.

On Sunday, December 4, 2022, starting at 4:00 p.m., our own Cantor Risa Wallach and her special musical guests will offer songs by composers from Israel and the Diaspora that represent the variety and richness of Jewish repertoire, from traditional to contemporary, from liturgical texts to popular song.

OUR PERFORMERS:

Joining Cantor Wallach in concert will be Cantor Jennifer Benrey, Rabbi Cecelia Beyer, Cantor Jeff Warschauer and Deborah Strauss. Accompanying the artists will be Cantor Wallach’s father, Dr. Laurence Wallach on the piano, and Kathy Shanklin, also on the piano. Bios of the performers can be found here.

PRE-CONCERT RECEPTION:

Prior to the concert itself, we invite you to join us at a special reception starting at 3:00 p.m. Meet and greet the cantor and musical guests, get reacquainted with your fellow congregants after the long pandemic solitude. You’ll enjoy offerings of wine, cheese and other hors d’ouevres as well as performances by our own Tefillah Band and youth choir, Sufganiyot.

The funds raised by this concert through ticket sales and sponsorships will support our temple’s many activities, especially our educational offerings and programs for our youth and adult members.

If you are a congregant, we recommend signing in to your account on the ShulCloud member portal. Once logged in, you can access payment methods already associated with your account or add the billing to your account. You can log in using the link in the upper-right of your screen.
