Challah Chibbuk Social

A Big Challah Hug!

Come on out to the temple for a Challah Chibbuk (A Big Challah Hug): an opportunity to socialize with fellow congregants, listen to the band, and receive our gift of a challah to enhance your Shabbat or Shavuot experience.

Rabbi Gluck, Cantor Wallach, the rest of the senior staff and several lay leaders will be on hand to greet you.

You are welcome to park and get out of your car, socialize with your fellow congregants, pick-up a challah, listen to the band (weather permitting). We ask that you keep your mask on and maintain appropriate social distance as you socialize. Please only virtual hugs or high-fives. We'll be at the temple to greet you on May 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. (If you prefer not to get out of your car, simply let us know as you arrive and we'll greet you at the car window and hand you your challah.)

Register using the form below to participate. Deadline is Monday, May 10.

The challah is our gift to you, underwritten by the Memorial Fund. Gifts to the Memorial Fund support the ritual life of the congregation.

We'll also be collecting food for the Food Bank of Somerset County. Volunteers will be on hand to receive your donations of food. Checks made out to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County will also be accepted or you can make a donation to the food bank below.
